Good morning beautiful people!!! Today’s inspiration is brought to you by the light shining through the windows of my sitting room, the snake plant that is growing towards the light even though my husband keeps turning it because it’s “leaning”, and some pumpkin spice goodness with froth.
Have you ever felt stuck?
Like even with your best effort you can’t move something forward because there is an obstacle at every turn.
A problem for every solution.
That’s how I’ve been feeling off and on for a while now.
The work I do everyday is extremely meaningful and important to me.
It speaks to the core of who I am, the change I want to see, and the impact I want to have.
It’s my legacy.
But this week, nearing the point of simply giving up and giving in, I resolved to find my voice and have the conversation.
To ask the questions.
To call out the elephant in the room.
And while the answers I received won’t solve things overnight, take away the heaviness of my work or remove obstacles completely…
I at least have a clearer understanding of “why” and a “how” to move forward.
I ended the week feeling unstuck and determined.
And this morning my resolve was reaffirmed when I opened my journal to this page…(I can’t make this stuff up)
“Determination gives you the resolve to keep going in spite of the roadblocks that lay before you.” – Denis Watley
Sometimes stuck is a feeling.
Sometimes it’s a reality.
But all the time we can dig deep, find our resolve and use our voice to get unstuck.
To keep reaching, aspiring, aiming and doing the things that are meaningful to our core.
Because “far away, there in the sunshine are my highest aspirations. I may not reach them but I can look up and see their beauty, believe in them and try to follow where they may lead.” – Louisa May Alcott
Happy Saturday!
