Don’t let raggedy people run you ragged.

Good morning beautiful people!!! Today’s inspiration is brought to you by an early morning workout, finally finishing “Professional Troublemaker” (which has me feeling EXTRA sassy this morning) and…wait for it…COFFEE!!! (But you already knew that.😆☕)

Have you ever ended an interaction, hung up from a call or disconnected from a virtual meeting feeling dazed and confused? Or maybe annoyed? What about completely frustrated? Did someone cause you to come out of character? 😯

As you ponder these questions…no need to lie to yourself. 🤣 No judgement here.

I can answer with an emphatic “YES” to a few of these this week and it’s only Wednesday. 🤭

It happens to the best of us. In fact a few weeks ago I was talking to my sister about her “situation” and very matter of factly said this.⬇️⬇️⬇️⬇️⬇️

“Don’t let raggedy people run you ragged.”

She laughed and said she needed that on a mug and VIOLA, this moment in a mug was born. 😆 (She bought it immediately)!

But in all seriousness, what do I mean by that? It’s simple.

I try to assume positive intent with folks on a daily because I want the same benefit in return. But no matter how positive my assumptions are, some people are just flat out raggedy.

Raggedy attitudes, intentions, work ethic, etc.

And if you’re about your business, dealing with raggedy people can potentially run you down into the ground.

DON’T LET IT!

At every interaction…including those conference calls when you have to have a stone face so your eyebrows don’t tell on you – true story 🤨😒…you have absolute control over who you relinquish your power to. Control over who gets access to your energy.

Don’t let them in! Don’t let them win!

Because raggedy folks ate going to stay raggedy. Don’t allow them to bring you to that place.

Stay elevated…mind, mood and attitude.

Happy Wednesday!
